Led by Justine Whitaker, a consultant nurse and one of the UK's most experienced lymphoedema specialists, the clinic has helped people understand and live well with these conditions for over twenty years. Every plan starts with a thorough assessment and an honest conversation. Care ranges from first assessment through manual lymphatic drainage and compression therapy to long-term management, all under one calm roof in the Forest of Bowland.
Northern Lymphology offers a full pathway of care, beginning with a detailed clinical assessment to understand your condition and shape the right plan.
Treatments available include manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging and garment fitting, kinesio taping, myofascial release, and LymphAssist and PhysioTouch therapy. The clinic also advises on the compression garments that make day-to-day management workable.
The clinic is at the Forest of Bowland Treatment Centre, Dunnow Hall, Slaidburn, near Clitheroe BB7 3AD, a short drive from Newton-in-Bowland. Both NHS and private referrals are accepted.
