The Social evening in November is a bit different,  why not come along to Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall and join in with the quiz

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

Newton in Bowland Parish Council, supported by the Village Hall Committee, are pleased to confirm the details of the Remembrance Day service to be held on Sunday 10 November 2024 as follows:

• Service to be held at the war memorial in Newton in Bowland at 2pm
• Refreshments in the village hall following the service.

Donations of cakes and biscuits will be gratefully received on the day in the village hall.

Donations of cash to the Royal British Legion poppy appeal.

We will be pleased to see you, if you are able to attend.

DUCK RACE 2024

The annual village hall duck race will be held on bank holiday Monday 6th May, commencing 2pm at Newton Bridge.

Tickets cost £1 per duck and the poster below shows where you can buy them from, we will also be selling on the day down by the river.

Prizes are 1st prize £100, 2nd prize £50 and 3rd prize £25, plus numerous other prizes. Winners will be announced at the village hall after the race, when refreshments will be served.

Please come along to our social evening on Friday 12th January and enjoy a drink and natter.

Dough Smiths van will be on the carpark this week serving curries, if you fancy it why not come along you can either take your food home or alternatively bring it into the hall and eat it with us.
