Police Drop in Session

Police drop-in session at Newton Village Hall 25th July 2025, 2pm to 3.30pm
Following the well attended last drop-in session in April, another session is being held at Newton Village Hall on 25th July 2025 between 2pm and 3.30pm.

We received very positive feedback from the Officers attending the April session and it would be great if we can make their efforts worthwhile again by as many attending as possible. Given that an evening session doesn’t suit everyone, it has been decided this time to try an afternoon session as an alternative. This is an opportunity for you to meet Officers from our rural policing unit, showing support and appreciation for their efforts as well as being able to ask questions. For example, you may be interested in learning about their current priorities, how they operate on a day-to-day basis and what are the biggest challenges they face but, of course, you can ask anything you wish to ask.
You can attend any time during the above timeframe
