Godfreys Last Summer

There will be the performance of a play ‘Godfreys Last Summer, at Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall on Friday 23rd March commencing 7.30pm. The play is written by Alan Stockdill and performed by Talking Stock Productions. There will be light refreshments and the licensed bar will be open.

After a successful presentation from David Ryall of B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North) it has been decided to hold a meeting to form a working group on Thursday 22nd March 2018 at 7.30pm in Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall.

All residents, organisations and business owners for the parishes of Newton-in-Bowland, Slaidburn and Easington and Dunsop Bridge are welcome to attend.

5th ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

The Village Halls’ 5th  Annual Fundraiser is to be held on Saturday 24th February commencing 8pm.

The entertainment this year will be provided by Local band Drive and comedian Denny Waters.

The chosen charity, for which all proceeds from the raffle will be donated, is Rosemere Cancer Foundation, to say a special thank you for all there help to local residents over the past 12 months.

There will be a hot supper, licensed bar and tickets cost £20 per person.
