B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North) are holding a public meeting on Wednesday 21st February commencing 7.30pm in Newton Village Hall to discuss the possibility of introducing a new fibre broadband service to the area. All residents of Newton, Slaidburn and Dunsop Bridge are welcome to come to hear the proposals

There will be a performance of a play written by Alan Stockdill entitled Godfreys Last Love on Saturday 16th December 2017 
in Newton Village Hall commencing 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 per person and will include light refreshments. The bar will be open.
