As the fight continues to try to keep Slaidburn Health Centre open on a long-term basis, a further meeting for Patients is to be held at Slaidburn Village Hall on Wednesday, 21st August, commencing at 7.30pm. The meeting will provide an update on the attempts to find a replacement for the current service provider, ELMS, as well as discussing possible future actions.
In addition, a letter is available for patients to sign urging the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) – the body responsible for obtaining a new supplier of services – to ensure the Practice remains open for as long as necessary until a new provider is found. A copy of the letter is attached and further copies can be obtained from Slaidburn Health Centre, the shops in Slaidburn and Bolton-by Bowland, the Hark to Bounty and Puddleducks in Dunsop Bridge
