The Library Theatre Touring Group will be performing Alan Bennetts   ‘Talking Heads’ at Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall on Saturday 26th May 2018 commencing 7.30pm. DUCK RACE

Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall will be hosting its annual duck race on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May 2018 at 2pm.

The race will start at Newton Bridge, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Bill Pinder.

Ducks cost £1 each, and winners will be announced and prizes distributed in the village hall after the race, where refreshments will be served.

The first 3 prizes are all of value, 1st prize £100, 2nd prize £50 and 3rd prize £25. There will be numerous other prizes and of course the booby for last place.

DANCE

John Bowdler will be providing the music for a dance to be held at Newton-in-Bowland Village Hall on Friday 4th May commencing 7.45pm.

There will be a supper, raffle and the licensed bar will be open. Tickets cost £10 per person
